Jacques Gauvin
 A Université de Sherbrooke Administration graduate, Jacques Gauvin was for 25 years Manager of a commercial printing plant where he had responsibilities in the fields of marketing, production and finance.
While pursuing his first career, he also held the positions of Vice-President and Coordinator of the Festival des Cantons, was Vice-President and founding member of the Maison Régionale de l'Industrie and a consultant on small business to the Minister for Small Business in Ottawa. As President of the Groupement des chefs d’entreprise du Québec, he led monthly meetings for presidents of manufacturing concerns in the four corners of the province. Also as President of the Groupement des chefs d'entreprise du Québec, he organized workshops in France in order to enable presidents of manufacturing firms to exchange their views and share business experiences.
In 1992, with his extensive experience in administration and as a seasoned session leader, Jacques Gauvin became a partner of DECISION PROCESSES INTERNATIONAL (DPI), an organization with over 60 partners in 17 countries whose processes include strategic thinking, decision making, innovation and continuous improvement of business and manufacturing processes. He has given many presentations on "Strategic Thinking" to entrepreneurs, manufacturing organizations and business associations. He has also led strategic thinking sessions at Permacon, Cantrex, Transcontinental and Lassonde Industries in Quebec and was involved at Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois, 3M in Minnesota and Phoenix Home Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut.
