Michel Moisan

Michel Moisan, Senior PartnerRecognized internationally as an expert in critical thinking processes, Michel Moisan has worked in the field of consulting since 1974.

He began his career in 1960 in the pulp and paper industry where he worked in several administrative positions. In the years that followed, he obtained a diploma in Marketing from Université Laval (Quebec) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University (Montreal). He then directed his career toward the field of sales and was Sales Manager, Quebec, for a national leasing firm. Later, he worked for the Industrial Bank of Providence R.I. as National Manager and supervised the entire operations and staff of the bank's Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver offices in Canada and its Chicago office in the United States.

In 1974, while working for a consulting firm in Princeton, New Jersey, he began to specialize in marketing and implementing problem-solving, decision-making and potential problem analysis processes used in setting up major projects.

In 1980, he joined together with Michel (Mike) Robert and contributed as a founding partner of DPI to the development of the organization's practice and world-wide network, in addition to playing an important role in the development of its critical thinking processes: strategic thinking, innovation, Internet strategy and operational decision making.

His major clients include the Bank of Montreal, Royal Bank of Canada, Caisses Populaires Desjardins, Noranda, Héroux-Devtek, South Shore Industries, Tembec, Kruger, OM Group, Outokumpu, Marietta Corp, Stackpole, Supremex, Transcontinental and George Brown College.
