DPI Partner Profile
John J. Roberts  John has been a Partner with DPI in Chicago since 1989. He is certified in all of DPI's Critical Thinking Processes with special focus on Strategic Thinking, Strategic Product Innovation and Business Process Improvement. Client experience includes Amoco, Abarta-Coca-Cola, Bridgestone/Firestone, Caterpillar, Castrol, Global Marine, Getty Images, Onyx Microsystems, The Republic of Kenya, Showcase Software, 3M and the Singapore General Hospital.
Prior to DPI, he was a Senior Vice President with Marsteller Inc. (A subsidiary of Young & Rubicam.) He started as a copywriter in this leading advertising and public relations firm and held various management positions over 19 years. Responsibilities included Strategy Development, Business Development, Account Management and General Management. He has developed and managed successful marketing and communications programs for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Dow Chemical, Fisher Controls, Beatrice, General Motors, Lanier and Gould. He was a frequent lecturer at the American Management Association. Previously, he worked for Interlake Steel, Allstate Insurance and the U.S. Air Force.
He is a graduate of Grinnell College, majoring in history, and lives in Burr Ridge, IL.
